Paving Operations Manager

Description:

Manages project jobsite. Including:

  • Responsible for the safety of crew members and the public
  • Project, material, and manpower schedules and plans (including pre- during, and post- construction)
  • Monitors construction activities, ensuing quality, and standard operating procedure reports
  • Proactively identifies potential problems and potential solutions
  • Effectively communicate with project owners, subordinates, and subcontractors
  • Coordinates personnel orientation and safety training

Ability to manage multiple jobsites

Skills/Experience Needed:

  • 5+ years’ experience in heavy civil construction
  • Strong computer skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

Ability to:

  • Bend, kneel, squat, climb, stand, walk, sit, reach
  • Drive for long periods
  • Use fine motor skills and repetitive motion
  • Occasionally lift weights up to 50 pounds
  • Work in adverse weather conditions

Education Required:

Description:

Description:

  • Valid driver's license
  • 3-5 years of related industry experience

Plant Manager

Description:

  • Adhere to safety requirements and procedures
  • Maintain optimum production and cost management while producing a high- quality product

Quality Control Manager

Description:

  • Lead & Develop team
  • Manages and makes adjustments and modifications to mix designs to ensure compliance
  • Trouble-shoot existing pavement issues
  • Quality oversight including managing lab equipment, people/equipment certifications are up to date, calibrations, inventory management (mostly aggregate, authority to shut a job down that is out of compliance, negotiating with State to come up with resolutions on issues                                                           
  • Manages and provides oversight to the Quality Control and Assurance department processes to improve production efficiencies while meeting customer needs and requirements in a sustainable manner.
  • Educates, trains and serves as a resource for customers, the industry and the company to provide product development, regulatory and research guidance, promote industry growth while increasing market share and profitability.

Skills/Experience Needed:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Conflict resolution skills, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge/use of Microsoft Office Suite, computer basics
  • Familiarity with quality control software or data management software
  • State certification or ability to obtain one.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to adjust to high decibel noise environments
  • Able to withstand long periods of sitting, standing, and/or walking

Education Required:

High school diploma or GED

Associate or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
