Administration

General Duties:

  • To understand general concepts of administration and possess basic computer skills
  • To enhance the office staff’s ability to manage and organize office effectively and professionally
  • File in the proper way and filing standard
  • Develop an appropriate office management strategy
  • Develop an appropriate assets management strategy
  • Able to develop administrative procedures
  • Able to plan and control administrative budget

Construction Management

General Duties:

  • Specifying project objectives and plans including delineation of scope, budgeting, scheduling
  • Setting performance requirements, and selecting project participants
  • Maximizing the resource efficiency through procurement of labor, materials and equipment
  • Implementing various operations through proper coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting and construction in the entire process
  • Developing effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts.

Environmental, Health & Safety

General Duties:

  • Enforce safety policies
  • Conduct audits and inspections
  • Investigate accidents
  • Ensure compliance
  • Train employees
  • Acquire full knowledge of OSHA/MSHA regulations

Estimators/​Cost Engineer

General Duties:

  • Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor and equipment
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
  • Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame
  • Assessing the risk levels associated with a project
  • Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done
  • Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers
  • Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs

Executive Leadership

General Duties:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to the company.
  • Set goals, develop strategies, and ensure the strategies are executed effectively.
  • Provides the organizational and cultural DNA for the company.
  • Responsible for the organization’s profit and loss.

Finance/​Accounting

General Duties:

  • Accounts Payable – making payments and keeping the bills paid
  • Accounts Receivable – processing incoming payments
  • Payroll – make sure everyone gets paid
  • Reporting – preparing, analysis, and insights for financial reports, e.g. P&L, balance sheets and budgets
  • Financial Controls – to avoid errors, fraud and theft
  • Effectively communicate with staff

Human Resources

General Duties:

Handle employee onboarding and exiting, develop internal systems and processes, manage employee benefits and payroll, navigate team restructuring, compliance with HR laws, conduct recruitment activities, and solve employee problems.

Information Technology

General Duties:

  • Manage web and software needs
  • Maintain internet connectivity
  • Back up information and troubleshoot glitches re-setting routers and resolving gateway issues
  • Inspect, repair and replace hardware
  • Audit system behavior and monitor firewalls to protect sensitive information and uphold cybersecurity protocols
  • Foresee, identify, and implement innovation in information technology to enhance operations.

Legal

General Duties:

  • Provide legal consultation and advice as well as reviewing the rules, contracts, agreements, and litigation generated by other departments.
  • Draft resolutions, letters, memos and participate in administrative decision-making.

Marketing/​Communications

General Duties:

  • Understand target market and competitors
  • Create a strategy to drive growth and profitability
  • Assist leadership decide which services to offer and how to price them
  • Network to create a steady flow of new leads & opportunities
  • Monitor and optimize strategy results
  • Manage social media channels and report engagement, interactions, and conversions

Mechanical

General Duties:

  • Performing quality checks on equipment and electrical systems
  • Ensure operations are safe and secure before work begins
  • Test and recommend new maintenance products
  • Coordinate deliveries from vendors and suppliers
  • Keep documents of inspections and problems
  • Keep an inventory of supplies
  • Train junior staff

Sales

General Duties:

  • Meet with clients to discuss potential projects
  • Identify and address each individual client’s needs
  • Establish and maintain a professional and positive business relationship with clients
  • Generate new leads through cold calling
  • Set and achieve sales goals that have been established
  • Work with sales team, estimating and production personnel in order to ensure successful completion of each individual project
