NAPA’s highly educated staff include three employees holding doctorates, 11 earning master’s degrees, and 18 boasting undergraduate degrees.

JOIN NAPA

NAPA is the only national trade association that serves the asphalt pavement industry. Membership is available to any asphalt pavement mix producer, paving contractor, equipment manufacturer, material supplier, equipment distributor, engineering firm, or consultant.

For as little as one cent per ton, producer members have access to NAPA’s members-only portal, online directory, and discounts for meetings, events, and exhibit space at our World of Asphalt tradeshow.

Brett advises the asphalt industry on issues related to recycled materials, asphalt mix design, production, construction, and technology. He is the NAPA liaison for the Committee for Engineering Application and Practice, and the Pavement Economics Committee Mixture Quality and Performance Task Force. Brett leads the Annual Recycled Materials Survey & Report and the World of Asphalt People, Plants, and Paving education program.

Experience

Prior to joining NAPA, Brett led technical services departments, research and development efforts, and technical training programs for asphalt producers. In addition, he is experienced in troubleshooting and forensically investigating road and pavement-related construction issues, developing and refining best management practices, and managing department capital expenditures.
