Historical Award Winners
This web page will give viewers more information about the winners of NAPA's Quality in Construction and Operational Excellence Awards.
NAPA’s Awards Program recognizes excellence in asphalt paving with its Quality in Construction Awards. This category has three tiers — projects using less than 50,000 tons of asphalt, highway projects using more than 50,000 tons of asphalt, and airport pavement projects. In 2012, the Quality in Construction Awards nomination has added additional recognition for the use of sustainable and innovative practices.
NAPA also honors asphalt industry’s leaders for Operational Excellence through five other awards. Excellence in marketing, communications, and community outreach are recognized with the Community Involvement, Outstanding Brochure, and Outstanding Web Site Awards. Companies also are lauded for their responsible practices with the Asphalt Operations Safety Innovations and Ecological Awards.
NAPA’s Awards Program recognizes continuous improvement in all aspects of asphalt operations. Winners are selected by peers, but the publicity for winning an award reaches far beyond the NAPA membership. Award-winning companies gain recognition on a national and local level.
