The NAPA webinar program will deliver the information you need to the comfort of your home or office.

Professional Development Hours (PDHs)Participation in NAPA webinars may earn you Professional Development Hours (PDHs). PDHs are educational units used to fulfill continuing education requirements for licensure or certification. In most cases, 1 hour of participation in a webinar equals 1 PDH. Some states and certifying bodies require pre-approval of professional development hours and documentation requirements also vary, so be sure to check with your appropriate agency. You are responsible for maintaining the documentation for your PDHs. You can request a certificate of completion after you attend any of the webinars to keep for your records.

To conclude the "Performance Under Pressure: Heavy Duty Pavements" webinar series, NAPA is releasing Design and Construction of Heavy Duty Pavements, the latest in its Quality Improvement (QIP) series of publications. The publication updates and revises QIP 123, Design, Construction, and Performance of Heavy Duty Mixes, and adds information on use, design, and production of large-stone mixes. This webinar will step through the new resource and will revisit topics explored in earlier webinars to bring the Performance Under Pressure webinar series to a conclusion. After the webinar, participants will understand what a Heavy Duty Pavement is, how Heavy Duty Pavements are designed, the materials and practices used to produce and construct asphalt mixtures for Heavy Duty Pavements, and the quality measures needed to achieve a successful project.

Training will include review of NAPA’s online internal traffic control training modules and is targeted toward equipment operators, truck drivers, and ground laborers involved with all aspects of road construction.
