2019 Community Involvement

NAPA presents its Community Involvement Award to asphalt companies that serve their communities through outstanding programs and projects.  Congratulations to the 2018 Community Involvement recipients! WINNER
Allan Myers
Malvern, PennsylvaniaCI7-2

partnered with Good Samaritan, a local homeless shelter. They have installed a washing machine for the shelter and hosted events for residents. Allan Myers also volunteers time at the Variety Club Children's Charity, which serves children and young adults with disabilities, as well as Habitat for Humanity. Finally, they participated in the QuickStart Program at Virginia University, which teaches construction skills to individuals recently released from prison.

CI5-3Boxley employees participated in the United Way Day of Caring; partnered with the Virginia Museum of Natural History on an education collaboration; worked with the Food for Kids program, which provides weekend food for children; and held an open house for the community.

CI12-4 Callanan's programs included fundraising activities; collecting of school supplies for the Boys & Girls Club; sending Christmas cards to the US troops; providing toiletries and clothing for orphaned children; and collecting food, toiletries, and clothing for the local homeless.
