Paving for Performance: Built to Perform | Dec 3-4, 2019 | Austin, Texas

Paving for Performance: Built to Perform

Heavy duty construction equipment, LeBron James, and asphalt pavement all have one thing in common — they were built to perform. Roadway owners are consistently telling the asphalt industry that performance is what they desire the most, so NAPA’s 2019 technical conference — Paving for Performance: Built to Perform — focuses on delivering smooth, long-lasting, high performance pavements.

Building on the lessons of 2017's Paving for Performance: Designed to Perform conference, Built to Perform will cover everything from the handling of aggregate in stockpiles to understanding how mapping technology can be used to ensure asphalt coverage, tools and best practices are available at the plant and on the paving train to ensure that contractors are paving for quality and performance.

Join NAPA and peers from across the county in Austin, Texas, to discuss the latest lessons learned and the newest technologies available to ensure our plants, pavers, and rollers maximize what industry customers value most — performance.

The Future of Plants & Paving

The conference closed with a panel discussion about the Future of Plants & Paving where equipment manufacturers detailed innovations and advances that are new or forthcoming that are likely to lead to significant changes in how we produce and place asphalt pavements. The discussion was broadcast via Facebook Live and a recording is below.

Who Should Attend?

The Paving for Performance Conference series is designed to provide owners (including DOTs, public works agencies, cities, counties, and states) to meet with the asphalt paving industry in an effort to achieve better pavement performance. The conference is an ideal opportunity for asphalt mixture producers, paving companies, material suppliers, and equipment manufacturers, as well as state and local agencies and consulting engineers who develop asphalt mixtures or flexible pavement designs.
