NAPA Announces Second International Conference on Warm-Mix Asphalt

Lanham, MD — The National Asphalt Pavement Association announces that the 2nd International Warm-Mix Conference, co-sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), will be held October 11 – 13, 2011 in St. Louis at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch.
This 2-1/2 day conference will provide a progress report on the implementation of warm-mix asphalt. International participants presenting papers will include representatives of China, South Korea, Switzerland, Latvia, France, Australia, Sweden, Japan, and the United States. Contractors, engineers, researchers, and agency personnel are invited to participate in this exciting, rapidly developing, and environmentally friendly field.
In addition to attending the conference, warm-mix asphalt technology providers will also have an opportunity to show their products at the conference through tabletop exhibits. Limited space is available, so contact Nancy Lawler or Sandy Palacorolla at (888) 468-6499 for more information.
The registration fee includes an opening reception on Oct. 11, breakfast each morning (three days), lunch on Oct. 11 and 12, and coffee and soda breaks each day. The early- bird registration fee is $475 through Sept. 9, $495 before Oct. 10, and $525 for on-site registration.
A block of rooms has been reserved at a special rate of $149 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch. The rate for government employees with appropriate identification is $110.
